The check’s in the mail

July 1, 2010

It’s that time of the month when Rocky pays his bills.  He can only imagine receiving an invoice for $272,203,375.09 !!

That’s the bill which BP just mailed Anadarko — for Anadarko’s share of the oil spill cleanup.

Anadarko disputes the nine cents.

See the invoice here: http://www.talkingpointsmemo.com/documents/2010/06/bps-invoice-to-anadarko-for-response-costs-may-2010.php?page=1

[Disclosure: Rocky has still not purchased or sold any BP stock. He’s been tempted. But he slapped his wrist.]

    Well Rocky,

If you want to more than just imagine receiving an invoice for $272,203,375.09, your could always lose the timers and crank up your waterfall. Either that or pour 60,000 barrels of oil a day into it and see what the neighbours think downstream. 🙂

Tyler: As Rocky’s daughter and wife readily attest, Rocky has “too much time on his hands.”

Allocator: In case you haven’t noticed, Rocky and the One Honest Man Blog are parochial, self-centered, and ardent believers in American Exceptionalism. Hence, please note that the word “neighbor” has no U in it. (pun intended.)
