Leftovers & Murder: A cautionary tale

June 2, 2009

Opening the refrigerator, Rocky becomes distraught upon discovering that someone ate his beloved leftover pizza, bbq, or other vittles. To date, no violence has ensued, but members of Rocky’s family should heed the following news story:

MELVINDALE, MI (NBC) – A 42-year-old Michigan woman has been charged with murder after authorties say she stabbed her father after an argument over a dinner roll.

According to investigators, the father left a note telling his daughter, Ava Maria Gordon, not to eat the roll which he was saving for later. She ate it anyway, and an argument ensued.

Police say Gordon fired a gun at her father but missed.

She faces a second degree murder charge and remains in police custody in Wayne County.

    Rocky,

Give me your address and I’ll Fedex you some of my leftovers. I’m that kind of guy. Do you prefer overnight or surface?

    Cheers,
    George

George: Rocky thanks you for the offer. For security reasons, Rocky no longer accepts unsolicited food contributions. He will, however, gladly accept American Express Pre-Paid Gift Cards, checks and cash.
